Asa Sturban Clothing Mix (Rewind)

Because of workload and a few technical issues this weeks podcast is a rewind of a classic dubstep mix for Asa that would have originally been played late 09 early 10 (we aint to sure) but it's still an amazing mix of timeless music.

After visiting Bristol, Asa fell in love with the dubstep scene and the contemporary music it had to offer. Having already spent a lot of time learning to produce hip hop, things sort of 'fell into place' and the world of dubstep was introduced to a brand new artist, that would go on to inspire many others.

Asa's influences range from the raw and magnificent sound of Noisia, to the discrete and somewhat ambient sound of Damien Rice. The wide spectrum of inspiration shows nothing more than a profound respect for all sorts of music, mirrored wonderfully in Asa's unique productions. 'Catch You', released digitally in 2009 on Audio Banquet Records was widely acclaimed and cemented Asa's place in dubstep history.
