The Lost Boxes Podcast

the 'Lost Boxes' you may be wondering what I'm talking about, so let me explain. About2-3 years ago we had a major redesign, you remember the ugly one nobody liked and where half the site didn't work, I shouldn't joke but I have to laugh otherwise I'd be in a coronary care unit. The major factor of that redesign was to move from a Access database to a SQL database to make things faster, make stock levels on site live and get more stability, all good but the import script from Access to SQL seemed to loose an amount of stock the 'Lost Boxes'. well I knew the stock was there but couldn't get around to searching counting and generally doing something until eventually about 2 months ago I did and it was a turning point.

So 'Lost Boxes' to me is a period in my life when I took control when all around me things were falling apart, my laptop died (still need to retrieve the hard drive) my 1T back up drive died and is beyond retrieval (that did house all my digital tracks so lost my entire music collection), but I overcome these set backs and finally made the decision that if the new design which we had laying around (thanks Craig) would ever get code and as always I had had been waiting for somebody who promised and wanted to do this for me but and here's my one bit of advice in life 'IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DOING DO IT YOURSELF' ramble over.

Lost Boxes the podcast is a collection of tracks that were not on my back up drive so were not lost but I do have very limited choice right now. My biggest disappointment was losing the Subsonic Orchestra album and because of that I did stick on the 17min Nero track which I find stunning and a real endorsement of how electronic music can and is pushing the boundaries of popular music.
